Just for Fun

Just for fun I thought I'd show you the other page I made. Petruschka's page is the little boy in the hat, which inspired me to make the page with my Grandson Quinn with the little yellow flower (weed). A fun challenge it is sometimes (always) hard for me to make just one page!

My Challenge 8 page

I really liked this challenge. We were to get a page by someone we admired their work and are inspired by. I love Petruschka's pages, especially this one. at scrapbookgraphics.com. I love the little feathers, and all the light colors. The second one is mine and the first one is what I was inspired by. Great-Grandma

Challenge 8:

Challenge 8 is here, the rule for this one is to scraplift someone who's work you ooh and ahh over and to use a star and the word dream on your page.

Here is the page I scraplifted off of and my page I did of my youngest daughter, Chelsea. I really love the work of so many people, but I chose petruschka's to do. I am very happy with this one!!

Challenge 7 - Great-Grandma's LO

This is my layout for challenge 7, sponsored by sunshinestudioscraps. We were to use all pieces they gave us for FREE! (Woohoo - I REALLY like free). I made a couple of pages and then had to decide which one I wanted to post. I posted the Justin one for the race. I am posting here both of the pages I made - just for the fun of it.

Challenge 7--

Here is my Challenge 7 page...
The rules for this challenge were to use everything in the mini kit provided, and you can add other items if you wanted to. Pretty easy, huh?? I didn't think of recoloring them but saw that a few other people did.
I am not 'in love' with this page, but it will do for the challenge.

Challenge 6...

This one is called a Road Block, only one of us do a page--we are to choose one of our partner's pages from a gallery, flip it over and then 45 degrees and use it as a template to scraplift. We have to also use the exact same number of items.
Also, the background paper is actually a photo of one of the giftbags from the babyshower.

Mine is above and here is a link to hers, the original...

Challenge 5 from Great Grandma!

I thought this challenge was fun. Didn't have to stress over which photo to use and telling a story that way. This way I only had to tell the story! My story is about Time and how everything is in God's Timing. My page shows those things that God has placed in my path, the things that matter, those things we all see through our windows of time.

ADSR4-challenge 5

Here is my challenge number 5, the challenge was to use 3 different frames and journaling...this was very challenging for me!!

Great-Grandma makes her challenge page

I made the page showing Grandson Quinn for challenge 3 (makeover page from my original - my very first ever digital scrap page, which can be seen at http://www.flickr.com/photos/29221678@N06/3192137079/ ). Our challenge came from Gottapixel.net. The yellowish one was the first, the brownish one is the makeover.

The other page, with the light shining through the darkness, is my page for challenge 4 which reflects my feelings, art and soul.

Here is my page for Challenge 3...it was to redo your first page you had uploaded onto any gallery, using the same photo, title and wording if there were any journaling.

My original is the lighter one and the redo is the one with the darker background.

Also, FYI: Baby Destiney is here!! Born 1-11-09, 5:52 pm. 7 lbs 5 oz, 19 in long and a gorgeous head of hair, she is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!

First ADSR4 challenge...

Here is my page for the first challenge, which was to tear your photo into at least 3pieces and do journaling. We'll add my Mom's to this as she gets hers done (I just sent her the email with the link to the challenge!).
We'd love to see your comments either here or on the NDISB site! http://www.hummiesworld.com/Forum/showthread.php?t=2353
Thanks!
